HealthHealth Ministry Deploys 10 Sonographers to Strengthen Maternal Care
The Ministry of Health and Enabel have deployed ten newly trained midwives and nurses as sonographers to the Busoga and Rwenzori sub-regions. Director General Dr. Charles Olaro stated the initiative, which has already delivered over 10,000 free scans, will curb maternal mortality and lower diagnostic costs for rural mothers.
